Product Details About This Product Continuous toilet partition door strike, designed to be used with 1″ HDPE solid plastic. Manufactured by Scranton Products, this unit is constructed from strong, lightweight, and rust-resistant extruded aluminum. Continuous strikes provide additional privacy by blocking any slightlines between the door and pilaster on the side of the door opposite the hinge. Strike is predrilled for ease of installation. Features an appealing metallic finish and integrated rubber padding to deaden sound and provide solid closing. Strike secures to pilaster by a series of through bolts. A strike is the part of the partition locking mechanism that receives the latch bolt to hold the door shut. Located on the pilaster next to the door, the strike also acts as a keeper – a piece that prevents the door from swinging in the wrong direction, rather than staying aligned with the door frame.
