Application and Service Media: Style 327 is an excellent multi-service packing which is suitable for a wide variety of applications for all industries. It may be used in centrifugal, rotary and reciprocating pumps, mixers, agitators, and expansion joints. It will not discolour the flow media, and it handles a broad range of chemicals, including water, steam, oils, solvents, mild acids, and mild alkalines. It is, however, not suitable for concentrated acids and alkalines. Construction: Style 327 is diagonally braided using acrylic yarns thoroughly impregnated with PTFE suspensoid. The finished packing is again coated with PTFE dispersion and a break-in lubricant is added to reduce shaft and eliminate glazing at start up. Sizes: 3mm, 5mm, 6.5mm, 8mm, 9.5mm and 12.5mm. Available in 1 meter packs or 8 meter rolls.
