This being an informal biography of George Haas, Bigfoot investigator, mountaineer, he completed the 3rd ascent of the Southwest Ridge of Grand Teton with Glenn Exum, book collector, and close friend of Clark Ashton Smith. Don Herron is an authority in the fantasy field, authoring the books, The Dark Barbarian, critical essays on Robert E. Howard; Willeford, a biography of Charles Willeford, and edited Reign of Fear, a study of Stephen King, and a noted Dashiell Hammett enthusiast, having for years, led gumshoe tours of the San Francisco locales featured in THE MALTESE FALCON. Having taken Herron's Hammett tour decades ago, that wonderful day still lingers long in memory. Many photos of Haas, throughout, and also includes photos of Haas's, Clark Ashton Smith sculptures. Herron also provided all the cover illustration. A handsome production. Numbered to 500 copies, this copy is signed by the author. A fine copy. No hardbound publication.
